Nashville-based Montecito Medical has acquired a medical office property that is occupied by three provider groups, including Smile Doctors. 

DSOs made the most additions in California during the second quarter of this year, with seven affiliated practices added.

The Pacific Dental Services Foundation awarded $70,000 in summer scholarships to 17 students studying dental assisting. 

Wayne (Pa.) Dental Care affiliated with Great Neck, N.Y.-based the Smilist, a private equity-backed DSO. 

Fort Worth, Texas-based Brident Dental & Orthodontics opened a practice in Fort Worth, its 129th location in the state. 

Affordable Dentures & Implants, a brand of Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care, opened a location in Fishers, Ind.
