Sonrava Health has entered a strategic alliance with independent dental benefits company FCL Dental.

Here are nine of the largest DSOs in the U.S. by number of affiliated or supported practices.

Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental is expanding in Florida with two new offices. 

Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS added its first Virginia practice to its network. 

Heartland Dental, Aspen Dental and Pacific Dental Services are the three largest DSOs in the U.S., representing a collective 3,500 locations nationwide. 

Two DSOs recently added their first locations in new states:

Carmel, Ind.-based Vista Verde Dental Partners opened a Britely Dentures + Implants Studio office in Oakdale, Minn.
