Several DSOs this year have formed partnerships with other companies and opened special offices to expand services. 

Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental supports 357 offices in California, Texas, Arizona, Alabama and Nevada as one of the largest DSOs in the U.S.

This list features entrepreneurial DSOs with fewer than 20 practices, many of which are looking to grow.

Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance recently added its first Tennessee dental practice to its network.
