Carrollton, Texas-based MB2 Dental recently added practices in Nebraska and Pennsylvania.

Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services is one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., with more than 885 practices in 25 states.

Both large and small-scale DSOs have made big moves this year to expand their networks and increase patient satisfaction as competition heats up in the field. 

Smile Brands opened two new locations and added another practice to its network in August.

Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management recently added its first oral surgery practice in Illinois.

Chicago-based Aspen Dental is one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., with a network of nearly 2,000 dentists and more than 1,000 dental practices in 45 states.

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental is one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., with more than 2,400 dentists and 1,600 practices across 38 states in its network. 

Several small DSOs have made moves this year to expand their organizations and reach new milestones. 

The top three largest DSOs in the U.S. have worked hard this year to meet expansion goals and spearhead initiatives as leaders in the dental industry.
