Maxwell Finn, DDS, MD, of Oral Surgery Associates of North Texas, is stepping down from the U.S. Oral Surgery Management board of directors and will be replaced by Vincent Perciaccante, DDS, effective immediately. 

Chicago-based Great Lakes Dental Partners has added Beverly Smiles Family Dental to its network, the DSO said Jan. 5. 

Georgetown, Texas-based Smile Doctors has gained an investment from private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners, the orthodontic support organization said Jan. 5. 

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental recently added LWSS Family Dentistry to its network, the DSO said Jan. 4. 

Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Peak Dental Services recently added Empire Dental to its network.

Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services supports more than 800 practices in 25 states.

Dallas-based Access Dental Management has acquired La Cruces, N.M.-based Bridget R. Burris, DDS, PC, a multimillion-dollar dentistry operation.

Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners recently added 30 practices to its network, bringing the DSO to 84 member practices.

Spring Dental has rebranded to Lumio Dental, the Tulsa, Okla.-based dental partnership organization said Dec. 22.
