Several DSOs have launched in the last few years to support dentists across various specialties, including general dentistry, orthodontics and oral surgery.

Here are seven DSOs and dental companies reaching milestones that Becker's has reported on since April 3, including entering new states, first acquisitions and hitting overall practices marks:

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental continued its expansion by affiliating with a practice in Ohio.

Jonesboro, Ark.-based GPS Dental recently added its first practice in New Mexico.

Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners received a growth capital investment to continue its growth and expansion into new regions.

San Francisco-based Cliff Ridge Specialty Partners recently acquired its first practice, Angolkar4Smiles in Seattle and Tukwila, Wash. 

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental recently launched a scholarship program for dental hygiene students at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville, Wis., The Monroe Times reported May 1. 

DSO DataCONNECT announces the latest affiliation rates for general dentists, orthodontists, and periodontists within DSOs and group practices, showcasing the ongoing trend of growing participation in group dental practices.

Sacramento, Calif.-based Straine Dental Management was launched in April 2022 and has grown to support more than 40 practices in 13 states.
