The award is not automatically granted annually and is awarded to recipients that demonstrate loyalty to the college, display excellence in dentistry and are recognized by industry peers for reaching and remaining at the pinnacle of the industry, according to a Nov. 11 news release.
Dr. White is president and CEO of Lexington, Ky.-based PepperPointe Partnerships, which supports more than 130 office locations across Kentucky, New York and Virginia.
Dr. White graduated from the dental school in 1988 at the top of his class and went on to complete the postdoctoral orthodontics program at the college, the release said.
