SGA Dental Partners has committed $2.5 million to support Augusta University’s new Dental College of Georgia Savannah campus.

The gift includes naming rights to the campus’s new dental simulation center, which will serve as the educational hub of the 185,000-square-foot facility. The simulation center will allow students to develop clinical skills in a realistic environment before treating patients. The campus, which broke ground April 29, will enroll 50 dental students and 20 dental hygiene students each year once it opens in fall 2028.

The $2.5 million  gift will help attract faculty and fund equipment and other resources for the campus, according to a Sept. 10 news release.

SGA Dental Partners supports more than 250 practices and more than 500 dentists in 26 states.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
