Troy, Mich.-based Smile Partners USA has opened its first de novo practice in Saline, Mich.
State Street Modern Dentistry is led by Wei Yao, DDS, according to the DSO’s website.
The DSO said Jan. 16 that the office opening represents its new approach to growth, breaking away from its previous strategy of partnering with existing practices.
The launch comes nearly a year after Smile Partners recapitalized following a strategic investment from a new continuation fund.
Smile Partners supports 120 offices in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Alabama and Michigan.
