With the funding, the dental service organization will scale its portable dental solution model. Currently, Enable Dental provides portable dental operations to patients in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado and California. The DSO is focused on reaching patients in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, substance abuse centers, group homes, healthcare institutions, hospitals and personal residences.

“As a clinician, I have seen firsthand the lack of access to care in our special needs and aging population. I strongly believe that Enable Dental’s portable model can provide quality dental care to those that have been under-served by the traditional dental model,” said Andrew Nguyen, DDS, clinical director of Enable Dental.

Along with expanding its reach, Enable Dental will use the funding to develop technology systems and build out its team of clinicians.

Financial details of the funding round were not disclosed.
