The states with the most DSO activity in November

Florida, New York and Massachusetts were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, acquisitions and openings during November.

Those three states saw at least two DSO moves in November, as reported by Becker’s:

Florida

  • Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health expanded its network in Florida with two additions in November.
  • Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental acquired Blue Spring Dental Care in Orange City, Fla. 
  • Irving, Texas-based Specialized Dental Partners added Endodontic Associates, which has locations in Clearwater, Trinity and Tampa, Fla.
  • Nashville, Tenn.-based Innovate 32 partnered with Marion Dental Group, which has two locations in Florida.

New York

  • New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 opened an expanded pediatric dental practice in Port Washington, N.Y.
  • Hackensack, N.J.-based Max Surgical Specialty Management partnered with Simpson Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New York.

Massachusetts

  • Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management partnered with Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Inc. in Brockton, Mass.
  • Dallas-based MB2 Dental added Wiemeyer Dentistry and Contemporary Prosthodontics in Duxbury, Mass.
