Gen4 Dental Partners has been making a splash in the dental space — here’s why.

Gen4 Dental Partners was created in August 2021 by private equity firm Thurston Group. It originally consisted of five group practices at 15 locations throughout Arizona and Utah.

After the DSO’s formation, Thurston Group and Gen4 said they would implement an aggressive growth strategy focused on acquisitions with providers nationwide.

Four months into 2022, Gen4 has acquired both an Arizona practice and a Michigan-based DSO while expanding its Utah presence.

Gen4 currently has 13 partners.

Gen4 Dental has also experienced some changes in leadership this year. The DSO made public that former Rite Aid executive Rob Mullins joined the company April 12.

The DSO is currently led by CEO Lamonte Jensen.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
