Dental Care Alliance names chief development officer, chief growth officer

Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance recently added a chief development officer and chief growth officer to its leadership team.

The DSO appointed Christine Heald chief development officer and David Pegg chief growth officer, according to a Sept. 1 news release.

Ms. Heald is tasked with managing the DSO’s business development team and leading efforts to grow the company’s practice network through mergers and affiliations.

She was previously senior vice president of business development for Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners, one of the largest ASC chains in the U.S. Ms. Heald led the company to its growth from five locations to 98 and more than $1 billion in revenue received.

Mr. Pegg has been with DCA’s business development team since 2017 and will further support the DSO’s growth in his new role. Under his leadership, Dental Care Alliance completed nearly 60 affiliations and entered 10 states.

Dental Care Alliance supports more than 390 dental practices in 22 states.
