Dr. Drukteinis was selected following a national search, according to a Jan. 13 news release.
Dr. Drukteinis previously served as a professor and associate dean for academic affairs at the school. He is credited with helping the school achieve reacceditation, coordinating the delivery of educational programs during the COVID-19 pandemic and facilitating the development of residency programs.
