1. DentalXChange, a dental revenue cycle management technology company, named Scott Hampel as its president.
2. Nashville, Tenn.-based Southern Orthodontic Partners appointed Sarah Sharfstein as its COO.
3. Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Smile Brands promoted Jason Genta, DDS, to senior vice president of clinical operations.
4. Thomas Paumier, DDS, was installed as the 163rd president of the American Dental Association.
5. Nova Southeastern University named Andres Pinto, DDS, DMD, as dean of its College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., effective Jan. 2.
