The New York State Dental Association named Anthony Cuomo, DMD, as the organization’s 143rd president.
Dr. Cuomo is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Northeast Implant and Oral Surgery in Carmel, N.Y., and Danbury, Conn., according to a June 5 news release.
The New York State Dental Association is a constituent of the American Dental Association and has 13 local associations and societies.
Dr. Cuomo took office on June 1, the release said.
