Dr. Heinrichs will help guide the company’s clinical strategies and advance its dental benefits, according to a Sept. 24 news release.
Dr. Heinrichs most recently served as dental director at Aetna, where she was responsible for overseeing the company’s dental health programs and delivery of care.
In addition, Dr. Heinrichs established her own general dentistry practice and has had numerous publications on teledentistry, the release said.
