Sun Life U.S. has appointed Todd Gray, DDS, to serve as chief dental officer for its dental businesses, which includes DentaQuest.
In the role, Dr. Gray will improve the organization’s clinical strategy by implementing evidence-based upgrades, overseeing quality and enhancing collaboration with dental providers and organizations, according to a June 3 news release.
Dr. Gray has more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving as a clinical advisor for DentaQuest. He also served as chief dental officer of Teledentistry.com, chief dental officer and senior vice president of quality management of Liberty Dental Plan and dental director for the State of Nevada.
Sun Life U.S. Dental is a provider of dental benefits and supports a network of more than 75 dental practices across the country, the release said.
