Yun Saksena, DMD, has been appointed the University of Washington School of Dentistry’s first vice dean of academic and student affairs, effective July 1.
Dr. Saksena currently serves as associate dean for education and campus culture at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. She has more than 25 years of experience in higher education.
In the newly created role at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr. Saksena will report to the dean and provide leadership over the school’s academic affairs and student affairs divisions, according to a LinkedIn post from the university.
