Georgia School of Orthodontics appoints chief academic officer, dean

Atlanta-based Georgia School of Orthodontics has named Dr. Nandakumar Janakiraman its chief academic officer and dean.

Dr. Janakiraman previously served as the school’s director of research for six years, according to a Sept. 9 news release. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, as well as a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Janakiraman has also published more than 36 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to orthodontic textbooks.
