Atlanta-based Georgia School of Orthodontics has named co-founder Christopher Lazzara as president.
Mr. Lazzara succeeds Randy Kluender, DDS, who remains on the board of trustees as senior advisor to the president, according to a Sept. 28 news release. Mr. Lazzara co-founded GSO in 2014 alongside his father, Gasper Lazzara, DDS, and has served on the board of trustees since the school’s inception. He is also founder and CEO of MountainStar Partners, a healthcare and real estate investment firm.
GSO has grown from 18 residents in its inaugural 2016 class to 50 residents in 2025. The school has treated more than 15,700 patients and awarded $6 million in scholarships to residents since its founding.
Mr. Lazzara began his new role Aug. 1.
