The Minnesota Dental Association has installed John Noack, DDS, as president for the 2026-27 term.
Following dental school, Dr. Noack served as a captain in the United States Air Force. He has more than 30 years of experience in dentistry and has practiced in Northfield, Minn., since 1998, according to a Sept. 23 news release from the Minnesota Dental Association.
He has previously served in leadership roles including president of the Southeast District Dental Society, as a trustee and officer of the Minnesota Dental Association and as a delegate to the American Dental Association House of Delegates.
“I believe the strength of our profession comes from the relationships we build and our willingness to stay engaged,” Dr. Noack said in the release. “Whether we are addressing workforce challenges, dental insurance issues, or changes in health care, it is important that dentists have a strong voice and that the MDA continues to have a seat at the table.”
The Minnesota Dental Association also named its officers for 2026-27:
- President-elect: Aruna Rao, DDS, of Koala Dental Care.
- First vice president: Loren Taple, DDS, of Northwood Dental.
- Second vice president: Nathan Pedersen, DDS, of Dental Health Service.
- Speaker of the House: Brandon Ulstad, DDS, of Madison Dental Clinic.
- Treasurer: Alejandro Aguirre, DDS, of The Dental Specialists.
