The National Association of Dental Plans has named Lauren Gritzer, DDS, as director of dental informatics and plan operations.

Dr. Gritzer is the first dentist to hold a permanent staff position at NADP, according to an April 20 news release from the organization.

In the role, Dr. Gritzer will advance dental informatics capabilities and facilitate NADP’s two workgroups focused on plan operations and electronic data interchange.

Dr. Gritzer is a dental public health specialist and has previously supported implementation of value-based care initiatives for CMS.

NADP is the largest nonprofit trade association focused exclusively on the dental benefits industry, and its members provide products to more than 200 million Americans, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
