NYC Health + Hospitals names dentistry, oral surgery leaders

NYC Health + Hospitals’ Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital in New York City have named a new chair and vice chair of the department of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Robert Margolin, DDS, has been appointed chair of the department. He has worked at the Jacobi Hospital since 2004 and has served as the general practice residency director at the hospital since 2019, according to a March 18 news release from NYC Health + Hospitals.

Josephine Sullivan, DDS, has been named vice chair of the department. She has served as assistant director of the general practice program since 2004. Dr. Sullivan has also practiced at Pelham Bay Dental Associates in New York City for more than two decades. 

Dr. Margolin succeeds Victor Badner, DMD. Dr. Sullivan was elected into the newly created vice chair role, the release said.
