Here are five dental industry executives that have stepped down from their roles since the start of 2025:

Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Community College has appointed Kasey Penoyer as assistant dean of the School of Health Sciences and director of dental hygiene, according to a Feb. 26 report from Rome Sentinel.

Aflac has hired Michael Fradkin to be senior vice president of its dental and vision business unit. 

David Maywhoor, the director of the National Coalition of Dentists for Health Equity, will step down from his role March 31. 

Jae Hyun Park, DMD, PhD, was selected to be the next editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and AJO-DO Clinical Companion, effective June 1.

Kenneth Chance Sr., DDS, will step down from his role as dean of Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine Dec. 31.

Fadie Coleman, PhD, was removed from her position as assistant dean of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine's Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, according to a Feb. 21 report from The Harvard Crimson.

A DSO including Godley Station Dental, Satilla Family Smiles and Lexington Family Smiles has appointed Kirk Clanton as its new COO.

Nader Nadershahi, DDS, has resigned as dean of San Francisco-based Dugoni School of Dentistry of the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., according to a Feb. 14 report from NBC affiliate KCRA 3.
