Dental technology veteran Tennli Nelson joined VideaHealth as its vice president of business development.

George Shepley, DDS, was installed as the 159th president of the American Dental Association Oct. 18.

Linda Edgar, DDS, was recently voted president-elect of the American Dental Association.

Three dental companies have named new chief dental officers since Aug. 1: 

David Manzanares, DDS, was elected second vice president of the American Dental Association Oct. 15.

Revere Partners, the first independent venture capital fund for oral health companies, recently announced its team of investors and associates.  

Dental laser company Biolase appointed Russell Morrow, DDS, as its chief dental officer, effective November 1.

Teledentistry company SmileDirectClub appointed Azmat Ali vice president of product.
