André Ritter, DDS, PhD, has been appointed dean of the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, effective Sept. 16.

Convergent Dental founder and CEO Mike Cataldo is retiring July 18, the Needham, Mass.-based company said June 30.

Woodbridge, Va.-based DSO Lightwave Dental selected Chris Suscha as its chief development officer.
