The Stony Brook (N.Y.) University School of Dental Medicine recently appointed Patrick Lloyd, DDS, its dean, effective July 1.

Moderna could claw back its $700,000 severance to former CFO Jorge Gomez, who recently joined the company after leaving Dentsply Sirona, according to a May 16 Charlotte Business Journal report.

LightForce Orthodontics recently appointed Frank Quinn its chief revenue officer. 

A Massachusetts DSO hired a senior vice president and CIO, and three other dental leadership moves have made news in the last two weeks: 

Waltham, Mass.-based DSO 42 North Dental has added Jon Morgan as senior vice president and chief information officer.

Biolase, a dental and medical laser system company, has added Kenneth Yale, DDS, to its board of directors.
