Samantha Bergeson was promoted to chief human resources officer, according to a May 25 news release from the company. She has been at Patterson since 2013, most recently serving as vice president of human resources.
Tonya Barber was hired as director of diversity, equity and inclusion. Prior to joining Patterson, she served as senior director of diversity, equity and inclusion at UnitedHealth Group.
Ms. Bergeson will be responsible for human resources strategy, including culture, compensation, talent management, organizational alignment and employee development.
Ms. Barber will be in charge of leading Patterson’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and celebrating diversity throughout the company, the release said.
