The Association of Dental Supports Organizations has named AJ Acierno, DDS, its next executive director.
Dr. Acierno is the co-founder of DecisionOne Dental Partners, which merged with Smile Brands in 2019. He continued to serve in a variety of leadership roles with Smile Brands, most recently as the president of clinical operations. He is also a member of the board of trustees at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
He succeeds Andrew Smith, who announced his departure in August.
