Mr. Healy, who currently serves as president of group benefits at the company, will succeed Steve Pollock, according to an Aug. 21 news release.
Mr. Healy has been with Sun Life for more than 20 years and previously led its U.S. operations and technology teams.
Joi Tillman, current chief commercial dental officer at Sun Life U.S., was named president of group benefits. Ms. Tillman has also led group voluntary, dental and vision businesses at the company.
Mr. Pollock will move into an advisory role with the company, the release said.
