Michael Davis, DDS: 

1. State reform legislation related to the conduct of the dental insurance industry will continue.

2. Consolidation within the DSO industry will persist with mergers and acquisitions. Interest rates are beginning to fall which will tend to accelerate leveraged buying.

3. While numbers of mid-sized DSOs will be acquired by larger ones, a number will also fail.

4. I anticipate one of the top 10 DSOs to enter into Chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy. I also expect their assets scooped up by a different major DSO player (or their private equity beneficial owner), which offers the initial stalking horse bid.
