Dr. Brannon, owner of Affordable Dentures & Implants in Sun City, Ariz., recently shared with Becker’s his predictions for what dental practice success will look like in five years.

Q: What will set successful dental practices apart from their competitors in five years?
Dr. Sibera Brannon: Over the next five years, the greatest competitive advantage in dentistry won’t be technology. It will be the ability to attract, develop and retain exceptional people. Technology, AI and digital workflows will continue to narrow the gap in clinical capabilities, making them increasingly accessible to everyone.
What will truly distinguish successful practices is leadership. Those that intentionally mentor young doctors, invest in developing their teams, connect every role to a shared vision and foster a culture of continuous growth will consistently outperform practices focused solely on production. Ultimately, the practices that help people become better versions of themselves — professionally and personally — will be the ones that separate themselves from the competition.
