Artificial intelligence has gone mainstream. It’s revolutionizing dentistry by giving doctors and team members the ability to analyze and annotate dental X-rays in real-time, identifying potential decay, calculus, and even bone loss. 

Dental artificial intelligence company Overjet appointed Bjorn Freeman-Benson, PhD, to the role of chief technology officer. 

Dentist pay rose between 2017 and 2020 and dropped in 2021 with a rise in inflation, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Inflation Calculator.
