Mr. Jones will also serve as president of the organization’s charitable foundation, according to an Aug. 25 Phoenix Business Journal article. His appointment comes after current president and CEO Allan Allford announced in February that he will retire by Dec. 31 after more than a decade with the organization.
Mr. Jones will join Delta Dental from his current position as a managing director for global consulting company Accenture. He also founded and led his own consulting firm in Lafayette, La., from 2005 until 2016.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University in Ames and a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin.
