New Hampshire Senate unanimously passes bill to provide dental care to adults on Medicaid

The New Hampshire Senate unanimously passed a bill by Rep. Joe Schapiro on April 21 to give dental care to adults on Medicaid, according to sentinelsource.com.

House Bill 103 already passed the House and will now go to the Senate Finance Committee for consideration of fiscal elements of the legislation.

Sen. Cindy Rosenwald told sentinelsource.com that 100,000 people with low income would benefit from the bill.

"You know, we pass a lot of bills here, many of them are technical in nature, they make some changes to programs or definitions," Ms. Rosenwald told sentinelsource.com. "Only a few of them have a direct positive impact on people's lives, and House Bill 103 is one of those few."
