Between Feb. 28 and March 13, an unauthorized third party accessed a portion of the law firm’s network and files that contained personal and protected health information, according to a July 20 news release.

Information that may have been accessed includes names, addresses, dates of birth, dental insurance policies, healthcare provider information and limited dental diagnoses and treatment-related information.

The cyberattack did not impact any of Delta Dental of California’s network or systems, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
