ADA urges passage of CHIPP Act

The American Dental Association recently joined 187 other organizations that signed a letter to legislators in support of the Children’s Health Insurance Program Permanency Act.

The CHIPP Act would make the Children’s Health Insurance Program permanent, according to a Nov. 10 news release.

The letter highlighted the program’s impact on children’s health outcomes, including reducing the number of uninsured children and relieving financial burden on families. 

Groups that signed the letter include the Academic Pediatric Association, the Children’s Defense Fund, the National Disability Rights Network and other state and federal organizations.
