Three things to know:
1. The Department of Health and Human Services published the proposal in the Federal Register Nov. 24.
2. The agency said they believe the proposal would incentivize states to add routine non-pediatric dental services as an essential health benefit.
3. The agency is allowing comments on the proposal until Jan. 8.
