The strategic plan includes 13 cross-cutting initiatives to support the organization’s goals within its strategic pillars. The strategic pillars include advancing equity, expanding access, engaging partners, driving innovation, protecting programs and fostering excellence.

Under the new oral health cross cutting initiative, CMS said it will consider opportunities to expand coverage access using existing authorities and health plan flexibilities. The organization said it plans to partner with states, health plans and healthcare providers to find opportunities.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
