Colorado lawmakers advance dental payer transparency bill

The Colorado House Health and Human Services Committee has passed legislation aimed at improving transparency within dental insurance networks. 

HB26-1070 would require insurance carriers to obtain dental providers’ consent before renting out their services.

The HHS Committee approved the bill Feb. 17 with a 10-1 vote, sending it to the full House for approval, according to a news release.
