Senate Bill 150 would mandate comprehensive adult dental coverage under the program to assist low-income adults in receiving oral healthcare. The state’s Medicaid program already provides pediatric dental coverage.

If the bill passes, Maryland would become the 48th state to provide adult dental coverage under Medicaid.
