North Dakota weighs expanded dental benefits under Medicaid

The North Dakota Senate recently passed a bill to expand dental services under Medicaid, KFYR reported April 7.

House Bill 1530 would extend coverage to dental screening, diagnosing, preventative and treatment services. Some of these services do not apply to the state’s Medicaid expansion program, the report said.

Implementation of these services could begin in August if the bill is passed.
