In the wake of the data breach, Vyne Dental expedited the launch of its self-service digital experience, which allowed new and existing customers to manage their onboarding, implementation and training, according to a May 16 news release.

The company also added more permanent and temporary staff to help with the influx of customers, enhanced call management to improve efficiency and expanded customer resources.

The Change Healthcare data breach impacted the healthcare industry, including dentistry, leading many dentists losing the ability to send electronic claims and attachments to insurance companies.

Vyne Dental serves more than 84,000 dental practices and more than 800 hospitals and health systems across the U.S., the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
