Laurel Health expands dental hygienist sponsorship program

Mansfield, Pa.-based Laurel Health’s dental hygienist sponsorship program is expanding eligibility to more applicants, according to a May 5 report by NorthcentralPA.com

Students accepted into the dental hygienist program at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, an affiliate of Penn State, are now eligible for the sponsorship program. 

Qualified candidates will receive up to $12,500 in assistance in addition to guaranteed job placement at a Laurel Health clinic after graduating.

The initial job placement is for two years with the potential option of full-time employment afterwards, the report said.
