The Radiation Health and Safety Exam is the board’s most popular exam, administering more than 12,000 exams each year, according to a Sept. 12 news release from the DANB.

The exam will be the first credentialing exam in oral healthcare to be offered in Spanish. The goal of the change is to expand access to certification opportunities.

Twenty-two percent of Radiation Health and Safety exam applicants are fluent in Spanish, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
