Orthodontist jobs projected to grow 4% by 2032

The expected percentage change in employment from 2022 to 2032 for orthodontists is 4%, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The rate is slightly higher than the average rate of 3% for all professions. 

Here are the job outlook stats for orthodontists, according to the data, which was updated Sept. 6:

Number of jobs in 2022: 7,200

Employment change, 2022-2032: 300

Growth rate, 2022-2032: 4% increase
