Dental staffing company raises $5M in additional funding

Phoenix-based Toothio, a dental staffing marketplace, has received an additional $5 million in financing.

Toothio recently expanded into eight new markets: Chicago, Los Angeles, San Jose, Calif., Portland, Ore., Seattle, Baltimore, Charlotte, N.C., and Orlando, Fla., according to an Oct. 30 news release. 

The company’s platform connects dental practices and DSOs with a pool of more than 30,000 dental professionals to address staffing issues. 

Since its founding, Toothio has achieved 300% year-over-year growth.

The investment was led by nvp capital and Craft Ventures, with participation from Rho Capital, Marketplace Capital, Roosh Ventures, Burst Capital, Revere Partners, Karman Ventures, Az Crown and Connexa Capital, the release said.
