Minnesota college cuts ribbon on $1M dental assistant training facility

Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, Minn., has cut the ribbon on its $1 million dental assistant training facility, CCX Media reported Jan. 10.

The goal of the facility is to help address the shortage of dental assistants in the area, according to CCX Media. The facility will allow the college to double the amount of students enrolled in its dental assistant program.

Delta Dental of Minnesota provided a grant to fund new equipment and additional training space.
