Mississippi passes interstate dental compact bill

The Mississippi Legislature recently passed a bill to join the the Interstate Dental And Dental Hygiene Licensure Compact

The IDDHLC, created by the American Association of Dental Boards, is one of two different compacts aimed at improving license portability for dentists and dental hygienists between participating states. 

If signed by the governor, Mississippi would become the second state to join this compact, following Louisiana last year. Missouri, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts have also introduced legislation to join the compact so far this year.
